Reatile Foundation Trust Bursary 2023

Full-time students studying in the Built Environment and Engineering fields in 2023 are eligible to receive a comprehensive scholarship from the Reatile Foundation Trust. The scholarship covers various expenses such as tuition, registration fees, meal allowances, and book allowances.

The selected candidates will get feedback within one month of the application’s closing date. If they don’t hear back by then, they should consider their application unsuccessful.

Eligibility Criteria

  • To be eligible for a bursary, you must be a Black South African citizen, and your household’s gross income shouldn’t exceed R30,000 a month.
  • You should also write a motivation letter to demonstrate how you can make a positive contribution to the society after finishing your studies.
  • You should be studying for a full-year university degree in engineering or the built environment at the Johannesburg University.
  • In 2022, you must have an average of 65%.
How To Apply?

To apply for the bursary, kindly follow these steps:

  • Ensure that all of the fields are filled in accurately and completely. Failure to do so could lead to rejection.
  • Email the filled-in application form along with the required attachments to Ms. Emily Faro at emily@reatile.co.za. Mention “Reatile Foundation Trust Bursary 2023” in the email subject line.
  • Make sure that all of the documents and information that you need to submit are in order to avoid any delays.

Documents Required

Attach the following required documents to your completed application form:

  • Curriculum Vitae (CV)
  • Motivation letter to demonstrate your leadership capability on completion of your studies.
  • Certified copy of your ID document
  • An academic record with marks (not a certificate)
  • Proof of the combined household gross income.
  • Details of any other funding (scholarships or study loans), if any, that you have applied for.
  • All invoices/cost estimates
Closing Date

The deadline for submitting your bursary application is 03 February 2023. Make sure to submit your application before this closing date to be considered for the opportunity.
