About KwaZulu-Natal Government
South Africa’s KwaZulu-Natal province has a rich history. It is known for its beautiful beaches and the Drakensburg Mountains. It is also a tourist destination, with two of its World Heritage Sites being the St. Lucia Wetlands and the Drakensburg Mountains. The region is home to the King of Zulu, His Royal Highness Zwelithini.
The government of the province is dedicated to creating an equal society for all its residents. However, its mandate is complex due to the province’s varying rural and urban living.
The provincial government handbook for South Africa is a yearly publication by Yes Media. This website is a replica of the content of the print version, although it can be updated regularly. For more information about the print edition, please click here.
The various government departments and agencies have posted job openings on their websites. You can also find job/bursaries advertisements in the newspaper Vukuzenzele.
