SHOPRITE BURSARY PROGRAMME _ SOUTH AFRICA 2023

Shoprite is inviting students to apply for their bursary programme, for 2023 academic year. The Shoprite Group’s Bursary Programme provides financial assistance to learners who are studying towards certain skills, such as food science, pharmacy, chartered accounting, logistics as well as information technology, e-commerce and retail business management.

 

 

 

 

The goal of the Bursary programme is to provide financial assistance for studies in the following fields:

  • Accounting (10 bursaries will be awarded)
  • Criminology (4 bursaries will be awarded)
  • Data Science (10 bursaries will be awarded)
  • Food Science (10 bursaries will be awarded)
  • Information Systems (10 bursaries will be awarded)
  • Information Technology/ Systems (10 bursaries will be awarded)
  • Retail Business Management (60 bursaries will be awarded)
  • Supply Chain & Logistics (10 bursaries will be awarded)
  • UI Design (Product Design) (5 bursaries will be awarded)

You must submit all of the supporting documents required for your application. These documents must be accompanied by the completed application form. If any of them are missing, then your application will be disqualified:

  • ID document (certified copy)
  • Matric certificate (certified copy)
  • Full tertiary academic record, including most recent results (on institutions letterhead)

ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS FOR SHOPRITE BURSARIES

Before an individual can apply for a position, they must first meet the following minimum entry requirements. Failure to meet these will prevent them from being considered:

  • You must be a South African citizen
  • You must NOT be older than 27 years old
  • You must have completed Matric
  • You must be studying towards a tertiary qualification or you in your 2nd, 3rd or 4th year of Study or Honours
  • You must be studying at a recognized and accredited tertiary institution within South Africa
