Hollywood Bets Foundation Bursary Programme

The Hollywood Foundation is now accepting applications for its Future is Bright Bursary program, which will provide eligible students with financial assistance for the 2024 academic year.

The Bursaries will be given to students studying in following fields: (These include undergraduate, postgraduate, and diploma programs)

• Digital Marketing
• Finance
• Graphic Design
• Human Resources
• LLB / Legal
• Marketing
• Media and Communications
• Supply Chain & Logistics

Hollywood Bets is committed in helping South Africa’s youth by providing bursaries to help close the gap between the work force and high school. The company aims to help students pursue their studies and improve their employment opportunities.

How to Apply for the Hollywood Foundation Bursary Programme

All applicants must submit a clear copy of the supporting documentation, which should be accompanied by an online application. If the documents are missing, they may be disqualified.

• Proforma invoice/ estimate invoice from your institution (on institutions letterhead)
• Proof of address

ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS FOR THE HOLLYWOOD FOUNDATION BURSARY

Before individuals can apply for a certain Bursary Programme, they must meet the following minimum entry requirements. Failure to do so may prevent them from being considered.

• Individuals who are South African citizens and have completed Matric are eligible to apply.
• They must either be studying or planning on studying for a qualification that is twelve months or longer, in 2024.
• They must also be enrolled in a tertiary institution that’s registered with the Department of Higher Education in the country.
• Individuals must be South African citizens, have completed Matric, and be currently enrolled in Matric.
• They should have a minimum score of 65%, and they should also have a 60% aggregate at tertiary level.
• Preference will be given to learners who are currently enrolled in a tertiary institution close to their home.

ABOUT THE BURSARY PROVIDER – HOLLYWOOD FOUNDATION / HOLLYWOODBETS

The goal of the Hollywood Foundation is to positively impact the communities in which it operates. In 2021, the organization made donations to almost 900 charitable organizations. These included schools, children’s homes, and old age homes. It also supported small businesses and educational growth.

South Africa-based Hollywood Bets, a betting company, launched the Hollywood Foundation. Through its various services, such as live games and online betting, it offers customers a wide range of betting options. These include sports such as cricket, horse racing, soccer, tennis, and basketball.
